Week One: May 1

In honor of my Grandmother who passed away on April 15th, 2012 I am going to do another Project 365.  Grandma loved my photographs and was always telling me that I should try to get some of my work published.   I don't know about all that but I will try to start taking more photos.  This Project 365 is a little different than the first one I did (where I took random photos everyday for a year).  This photo project is going be a little bit more organized.  As there are 52 weeks in a year I am going to do weekly themes and post the photos and themes once a week (most likely on Sundays).

Saying all of this:

In honor of my Grandmother this weeks theme is to find Grandma’s Name Hidden in Pictures.  Her name was Leona Jean Williams Sager.  For some reason my Grandmother did  not like her first name so always went by Jean.  Personally I think Leona is beautiful.  

Here's to you Grandma!  Thank you for always believing in me, teaching me how to cook, sharing family stories with me, encouraging my dreams, walks on the beach, and for teaching me to never let people or circumstances get me down.  You were an amazing Grandmother.  Although you are no longer with us your memory will live on in my heart.
